OBITUARY Marilyn DeMenge July 31, 1934 – September 19, 2018 Marilyn DeMenge , born July 31, 1934, went to be with the Lord September 19, 2018. Married to Steven F DeMenge Sr. January 17, 1952 , they had their first child Deborah then moved to Tucson Arizona where son Steven Jr., daughter Ganiece and youngest son Jody were born. In 1969 they moved to Seattle, eventually settling in the Bothell area where they raised their children and resided for 50 years.

Marilyn drove school bus for the Northshore School District and later for Community Transit, but her heart was family and home. In her younger years she was active with bowling, a women’s softball team and planting flowers. Spring and Autumn were her favorite seasons.

Family BBQ’s and always the music to accompany them. She enjoyed sitting on the lawn swing having coffee with a family member or just watching the farm animals and the kids playing and laughing, gave her peace and happiness. She was selfless and made limitless sacrifices for her family.

A rare character trait indeed. Her presence will be greatly missed but the legacy she leaves will live on. Marilyn is survived by her husband of 66 years, Steven DeMenge Sr. , her son Steven D DeMenge Jr., 2 daughters Deborah Schwartzenberger, Ganiece J Nielsen, along with 5 grandchildren, Marilyn Conyers, Sarah Rowsell, Catina Demenge, Clint Wold, and Jake DeMenge along with 9 great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills 409 Filbert Rd, Lynnwood, WA 98036. Viewing 9-11 a.m. Service: 11 a.m. Graveside: 12 p.m. with reception to follow.
