OBITUARY Keith Eugene Osborn March 13, 1953 – September 22, 2018 Keith Eugene Osborn, born on March 13, 1953 in Seattle, Washington passed peacefully into the kingdom of God on Saturday, September 22, 2018. Keith grew up and lived in Washington State his entire life. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Arlington.

He graduated from Arlington High School in 1971, and served in the United States Army. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Washington University in 1993. Keith was a counselor at Sehome High School in Bellingham before taking a position at the King County Juvenile Detention Center in Seattle.

For the last 19 years, he worked as a probation officer for the City of Everett Municipal Court. Keith loved camping, fishing, hiking, skiing, and especially playing golf. He enjoyed woodworking, gard-ening, and ” just putzing “as he liked to call it.

He was an avid reader, loved the arts and enjoyed traveling and discovering new places. He loved all things baseball and rooting for the Seattle Mariners. He was an amazing man filled with a zest for life.

Always the optimist, he could find the positive in anything and everything. He had an infectious smile and a kind word for everyone he met. Keith’s legacy is one of learning, curiosity, gratitude for all things, and love for his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Irene and Harold Osborn and a brother, Danny Osborn. Keith is survived by his wife, Jayne Osborn of Arlington, son, Brandon Osborn (Jacque) of Los Angeles, Brandon’s mother, Ann Harrington of Everett, stepdaughter, Christal Day (Shayne) and grand-daughters, Addyson and Olivia of Edmonds; sisters, Monica Nielsen and Candi Rosenau of Mount Vernon, brother, Daryl Osborn and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank Keith’s doctors, nurses and the care team at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and the University of Washington Medical Center for the compassionate care they provided for the past six months.

Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1200 E 5th Street, Arlington, WA, Friday, October 5, 2018 at 10:00 am, with graveside services at Floral Hills Cemetery in Lynnwood at 12:00 pm. The celebration of Keith’s life will be held at the Mill Creek Country Club on Friday, October 5, at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to VFAC, “Vision for a Cure”.
