OBITUARY Kathleen Pearl Fiedler September 15, 1928 – October 18, 2018 Mrs. Fiedler, a resident of Federal Way, WA passed away on October 18, 2018 shortly after celebrating her 90th Birthday. Kathleen was born in Tacoma, WA on September 15, 1928 to Pearl and Wesley Bown of Seattle, WA. The oldest of three children, she graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1946 and continued on to receive a Business Degree from the University of Washington.

In August 1950 Kathleen married Arthur Fiedler; they were married for 61 Years. Kathleen and Arthur moved from Auburn, WA to Moorhead, MN in 1965 for Arthur’s employment through the Railroad, and then settled in in White Bear Lake, MN in 1973 where they raised their family. They ended up relocating back to the Seattle Area in 1989 to retire.

Kathleen was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, and grandmother. She was an avid gardener, cook, and homemaker; as well as an amazing seamstress who made many of her own clothes for herself and her family. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, reading, Bridge Club, camping and hiking.

She could often times be spotted supporting her sons with Boy Scouts, as all three of her sons are became Eagle Scouts. She was the #1 fan for all sporting activities in which her sons participated. Kathleen always offered to provide a hot meal, cookies, cakes and/or coffee for those who came to visit.

In addition to being a homemaker, Kathleen worked as a secretary for Gould and Gould Insurance Agency in Seattle, WA and then later worked as a secretary for Central Junior High School in White Bear Lake, MN for 15 years. Kathleen is survived by her children; Charles Fiedler and his wife, Dagmar of Puyallup, WA, Bradley Fiedler of Federal Way, WA, and Mark and his wife, Amie Fiedler, of Beaverton, OR; and her grandchildren, Adam Fiedler and Annika Fiedler; Brother; Rodney and his wife, Sue Bown of Dickinson, TX and her beloved dog, Roxy, along with many other family and friends. Mrs. Fiedler is preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and Wesley Bown; husband Arthur Fiedler and brother Charles Bown.
