OBITUARY George O Stanosek September 30, 1927 – October 27, 2018 George Osmar Stanosek, age 91 of Lynnwood, Washington passed away peacefully on October. 27, 2018 after a short battle with cancer. George was born to German immigrants, Joseph and Franciska, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, September 30, 1927 and was raised in upper Michigan.

He joined the Navy for a short time then his career was focused in the Air Force in Avionics Maintenance as an Electrician. This took him around the United States and to Korea, Japan, England, and Vietnam. He retired in 1971 and began his second career with the City of Lynnwood from which he retired in 1994.

While in England he met and married the love of his life, Beryl Aspinall in 1957. They raised two girls together, Theresa and Lisa. George enjoyed day trips all around the state, working on old televisions, and spending time with his family.

He was a true gentleman and will be missed by his family and friends. George was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers. He is survived by his beautiful wife, Beryl, daughters Theresa Nelson and Lisa Wester, and four grandchildren, Clarissa, Alden, Cooper, and Quinna.

A Memorial service will be held at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Rd. in Lynnwood, WA 98036 on Wednesday, November 7th at 1:00pm.
