David Santiago Aponte, 63, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Saturday with his loving family by his side. David was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, a son of the late Pedro Malave and Felicita Aponte. .

He had been employed as a construction worker for several years before retiring due to illness. He is survived by two brothers Perfecto Santiago of Long Island, NY and Samuel Malave of Providence; five sisters, Gladys Torres of Alabama, Maria Santiago, Virginia Perez and Maria Icidra all in Puerto Rico and Lydia Santiago of Taunton, MA, nieces and nephews. His Funeral will be held at a day and time to be announced.

Burial will take place in No. Burial Ground, Branch Avenue, Providence.
