David W. Schnelle, 55, of Convoy, Ohio died Thursday, January 10, 2019. He was born March 15, 1963 in Van Wert County, Ohio to the late Emil H. Schnelle, Jr. and the late Joyce (Stocklin) Schnelle Coffelt. David was a graduate of Crestview High School.

He enjoyed the outdoors, taking a daily cruise, playing cards, spending time with family and friends, and sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is survived by two sisters, Robin (Scott) Parker of Elida, Ohio and Emily Alberding of Lima, Ohio; a brother, Bruce (Patti) Schnelle of Conroe, Texas; and many aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a sister, Penny Corwin.

Please join the family in a celebration of David’s life Saturday, January 19th at the Van Wert VFW from 12:30 to 3:00. Bring a memory of him to share in his memory book and dress casually. Private family burial will take place in Convoy I.O.O.F.
