Obituary for Dayton Lee Hildebrand On Saturday, September 15th, Dayton Lee Hildebrand, 11 of Hamlet, IN and Niles, MI, was called home to receive his angel wings. Dayton was a sweet, adventurous, loving little boy always helping others. He touched the hearts and lives of many people.
Dayton drowned tragically attending a classmate’s pool party. Leaving many family, friends, and loved ones behind. He is survived by his mother, Kelly Garrett Hildebrand (Robert Wilson) of Hamlet, IN; his father, Nicholas Hildebrand of Niles, MI; brothers, Kristopher Eaton, Nicholas Hildebrand and Aydyn Hildebrand; sisters, Arianna Eaton and Alexis Hildebrand; grandparents Connie and Dan Cyphert, Steve and Mona Garrett, and Robin Husmann; uncles, Matt (Morgan) Hildebrand, Scott (Shanon) Garrett; aunts Amber Hildebrand, Mackenzie Garrett, and Ashley Cooke; and numerous family and extended family.
He developed especially close bounds with his cousins Dionte, Mariana, Autumn, London, Faith, and Matthew Hildebrand that were more like siblings. Dayton was preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas Hildebrand and uncle, David Cooke. Dayton, you were loved by so many and are missed tremendously.
Fly high Bubby. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave. , La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Friday, September 21, 2018, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm & Saturday, September 22, 2018, 9:00 am – 10:00 am.
A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Saturday September 22, 2018 at 10:00 am with Alice Holle officiating. Interment will follow at the Hanna Cemetery, Hanna, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Kelly Hildebrand.
