Obituary for De Lois Ann Spratt De Lois Ann “DeAnn” Spratt left this life unexpectedly at age 59 on April 27, 2018 in Orlando, FL. She died peacefully in her bed. She was born December 27, 1958 at Dyess Air Force Base (AFB) hospital in Abilene, Texas to Patsy V. Spratt and the late Victor M. “Jack” Spratt and Patsy V. Spratt.

She was their first child. She lived an exciting life. After her birth in Texas, she lived in Utah, Georgia, Ohio and finally Alaska.

Her father drove the Alaskan Highway taking a month to make it a wonderful vacation. The family lived on Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage, Alaska. When her father was sent to Vietnam, her parents bought a home in Anchorage, where she, her mother, her brother Steve, and their beloved Brittany Spaniel stayed until 1971.

At that time they moved to Ankara, Turkey for two years. It was a glorious time for all. They skied, camped out on the Mediterranean Sea, boated in the Aegean Sea and spent every weekend exploring castles & ruins of bygone civilizations.

DeAnn made many American friends in Turkey, many of whom she kept up with through the years. DeAnn graduated from Bartlett High School in Anchorage, Alaska in 1976. In 1977, she married James Pullar and they moved to Bellingham, WA, where their three sons, James, Dustin, and Zachary were born.

DeAnn graduated from Western Washington University and then moved to Orlando, Florida in 1991. For the past seven years she lived with her true love, Scott Washer. She really enjoyed growing things inside and outside her home.

She enjoyed her kittens, gardening, and spending time at her church. She is survived by her sons, James E. Pullar III, Dustin S. D. Pullar, and Zachary D. Pullar; daughter, Aurora E. Pullar; mother, Patsy Spratt; brother, Steve Spratt; four grandchildren; and her loving partner, Scott Washer. She will be cremated and her ashes will be shared with her family members.

Friends and family can pay their respects at the memorial service on Sunday, May 13 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. The funeral home will be DuGusipe, 9001 N. Orlando Avenue, Maitland, FL (407) 695-2273.
