Deborah Ann Jones-Witcher June 26, 1964 – December 31, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Ms. Deborah Ann Jones-Witcher “Dale” departed this life on Monday, December 31, 2018, at her home in Gladys. She was born on June 26, 1964, to the late Mr. Sterling Jones Sr. and Mrs. Louise Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Sterling Jones Jr. Deborah is survived by her children, Melissa Witcher Johnson (Anthony) of Gladys, Anthony J. Garland of Georgia, Felicia R. Witcher of Tennessee, and Abony L. Easley of Georgia; her devoted sisters, Dorothy Jones of Gladys and Vicky Younger of Gretna; six grandchildren, Tamika Witcher, Malaysia Daye and Xavier Daye all of Gladys, Kayven Scott of Georgia, Mariana Hernandez and Justin Ewing Jr. of Tennessee; two nieces, Sabrina Jones and Angela Jones of Lynchburg; great nephew, Julius Donigan of Lynchburg; her devoted aunt, Katherine Gafford of Lynchburg; her uncle, Howard Moorman of Lynchburg; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Hills Creek Baptist Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Her remains will be open to the public one hour prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at the church. The family welcomes guest to the home of her daughter at 418 Gladys Road, Gladys, Va. Condolences may be emailed to comfuneral@aol.com.
