Deborah Jean Wilson, age 60 of Tyrone, died on Saturday March 2, 2019 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born on September 30, 1958 the daughter of Paul E. “Woody” Wilson Jr. who survives, and the late Mary Louise (Palmer) Wilson. Deborah is survived by 3 sisters: Peggy (Richard) Poorman, Ann (Ron) Kerr and Paula (Mike) Weimer; 4 nephews: Tyler (Kelsey), Ronnie, Chris and Holden; 4 Nieces: Brooke (Anthony), Jenna, Katie, Jocelyn; her stepmother: Barbara Wilson; and 2 dear friends: Jane and Pat.

Deborah was a graduate of State College High School and nursing school at Mount Aloysius College. After graduating from college she worked as a nurse in Philadelphia for many years before coming back home. For the last 10 years she has worked for the Homewaters Club, a world class fly fishing club in spruce creek.

Deborah loved flowers, gardening, and doing crafts. She also enjoyed fishing, camping, going to the beach and hanging out with and spending time with her family. Friends will be received at Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday March 12, 2019 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM with a memorial service officiated by Pastor Carl Schmidt to follow at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

Contributions in Deborah’s memory may be made to Centre County PAWS, 1401 Trout Rd. State College, PA 16801. Arrangements are under the care of the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc., 115 W. 10th St. Tyrone, PA 16686.
