Obituary for Deborah L. “Deb” Jacobs Deborah L. “Deb” Jacobs, 64, of Annville passed away on Sunday May 28, 2018 at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of Daniel E. Jacobs, with whom she would have celebrated 14 years in marriage this September. Deb was born in Pottsville on September 7, 1953 to Richard Lyons of New Jersey and the late Dorothy (Yanosch) Lyons.

Deb had obtained her master’s degree from The University of Pennsylvania. She had worked as an emergency room nurse and as a nurse practitioner at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. More recently, she was the administrator of Leader Nursing Home.

In her younger days, she was a Blue Water Sailor, she had raced around the world. She was the past president of the Lebanon County Kennel Club and a volunteer of the New Penn Del Newfoundland Club. Deb was also the owner of Club Fido Dog Daycare in Palmyra.

Surviving in addition to her husband and her father are her step children, Nathan Jacobs and Elizabeth Jacobs, sisters, Shelly Braaksma and Barbara Darnell, her niece Melissa, and her nephew Dane. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to New Penn Del Newfoundland Club, 38 Evan Drive, Cranbury, NJ 08512.
