Deborah’s Obituary Altamont, NY – Deborah L. Laraway, known best as Debbe, 71, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, in her home. She was born in Albany on January 3, 1948, to the late John G., Jr. and Eleanor Brust. She was a retired U.S. Postal Service Carrier.

Debbe was loved by all for her slapstick sense of humor and her larger than life stories. She loved shopping on LC, was passionate about animals, and was the matriarch of a large close-knit family. She will be terribly missed.

In addition to her parents, Debbe was predeceased by her husband of 25 years, Mark Laraway and by her brothers, Andy Powell, John G. Brust III, and Jimi Brust. Survivors include her sister Shirley Moon (Jack), and nieces and nephews, Michael Brust (Judy) and family, Cathy Nicoll (Joe) and family, Artie Brust and family, Angela C. Brust-Balogun (Tunde) and family, Race Brust, Athena Ladd (John) and family, and many grandnieces and grandnephews and their families. Relatives and friends may call from 10am -12pm on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at the William J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home, 628 N. Broadway, Saratoga Springs, (518-584-5373).

Funeral services will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Debbe’s name to Pitbulls and Parolees c/o Shirley Moon, 314 Louden Rd. , Lot 15, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
