Obituary for Deborah Lea Swenson Deborah Swenson, 62, of Melvin, Texas, passed away on Friday, November 16th, 2018, in Brady. Service for Deborah will be held at the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel in Brady, Texas on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 2:00 pm under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home. Deborah was born in Brady, Texas on September 5th, 1956, to Robert Lee and Betty Jean Craft.
Deborah married, Ronnie Swenson on May 15th, 1995 in Eden, Texas. They lived in McCulloch County a lifetime. Deborah was a member of the Melvin Bible Church in Melvin.
She enjoyed taking care of plants in the house, she had a heart for stray animals, when she would find one she would bring them home and take care of them and she loved being with her grandchildren. Deborah is survived by her husband Ronnie of Melvin; 2 son, Justin Walton of Brady, Shane Swenson and wife Ruby of Brady; 3 daughters Kimberly Dawn Dorsey and husband Bryan of Weatherford, Kimberly Nell Short and husband Alan of Lohn, Starr Sims of Ballinger; 3 sisters Diane Damuth and husband Gary of Brady, Danida Uptmore and husband Terry of Waco, Danya Foree and husband William of Synder; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Deborah is preceded in death by her parents, one great grandchild In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Deborah Swenson name to Brady Hope from the Heart.
