Deidre DeAnne Brown, age 50, of Petersburg, Virginia, formerly of Riverdale, Georgia, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018. Mrs. Brown was born on June 15, 1968, in Atlanta, Georgia. She attended high school at Forest Park Christian School in Forest Park, Georgia.

Survivors include her parents: William and Alicia Morris of Gainesville, Georgia; sons: Daniel Brown Jr. and Damon Brown, both of Petersburg, Virginia; daughter: Sarah Brown of Petersburg, Virginia; brothers: Mark Godwin and wife Rachel of Valdosta, Georgia, and Joshua Morris and wife Shelly of Gainesville, Georgia; sisters: Kady Mowbray and husband Jesse of Gainesville, Georgia, and Michelle Jones of Columbia, South Carolina; four nieces; and two nephews. She will be missed also by her Shih Tzu, Mooshoo. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at Wahoo Baptist Church in Lumpkin County, with Dr. David A. McCoy officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church sanctuary from 10 am until the hour of service. Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to Wahoo Baptist Church, 9365 Hwy 52 East, Murrayville, Georgia 30564.
