Obituary for Delaine Carr Mr. Avery “Delaine” Carr, age 74, of the Pilot Oak Community, passed away at 9:55 P.M. Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at his residence. He was a member of the Pilot Oak Baptist Church and was a retired teacher at West Kentucky Community and Technical College, a welder and a farmer. He is survived by his wife of 55 years; Janie Elliott Carr, two sons; Michael (Ranetta) Carr, Pilot Oak, Robb (Meegan) Carr of York, Pennsylvania, a daughter; Jayna (Sam) Natividad, Pilot Oak, two grandsons; Matthew (Savanna) Carr and Auston Carr, four granddaughters; Kenzie and Kasi Natividad, Katie and Lizzie Carr, one great granddaughter; Avery Lynn Carr and a sister; Marilyn (Dwain) Yates Pilot Oak.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Avery and Robena Wilkins Carr and a granddaughter; Kayla Marie Carr. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday at the Pilot Oak Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Brown officiating.

Interment will follow in the Pilot Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be: Michael Carr, Robb Carr, Matthew Carr, Auston Carr, Sam Nadividad and Dwain Yates. Friends may call after 5:00 P.M. Friday at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield and after 12:00 Noon Saturday at the Pilot Oak Baptist Church.
