WENTZ- Delbert L. “Deb”, 82, of Richland Township was called to his forever home on July 17, 2018. He was born on October 12, 1935 in Johnstown. As the last surviving member of his immediate family, he was preceded in death by his parents, Orange and Irene Lila (Repine) Wentz, brothers Orange Wentz Jr., Cyrus Wentz, and sisters Harriett Lohr, Dorothy McQuade, and Betty Krieger.

Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Eileen (Vickroy) Wentz who was the love of his life and personal nurse in his final days. Also survived by his children, Cindy Levi wife of Todd Levi, Braselton, GA and John Wentz married to the former Marie Salvaggio, Windber; grandchildren Brandon McLaughlin, Flowery Branch, GA, Maura McLaughlin, Braselton, GA, and Cassandra Wentz, Windber. Except when serving as a Medic in the US Army stationed in Fort Dix, NJ, Deb lived his life in Johnstown.

He retired in 1983 from his career as a wire inspector at Bethlehem Steel’s Rod and Wire Mill. His grandkids were his pride and joy. He was always there to cheer them on at their sporting events and activities.

He also enjoyed visits from his neighborhood buddy Jadin. Family and friends will be received from 6:00pm – 8:00pm on Friday (7/27) at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, and from 10:00am – 11:00am on Saturday (7/28), with funeral services conducted by Pastor Ray Streets immediately following. He will be laid to rest at Richland Cemetery.
