Obituary for Della Ellen Parks Della Ellen Parks, 75, of Goldsboro, passed away on November 30, 2018. She was born in Bland County, Virginia on December 29, 1942 to the late Emory Clayton Parks and Emma Odell Mitchell. Ms. Parks worked for 3 GS Cleaners.

In addition to her parents Ms. Parks is preceded in death by a daughter Edna Ryan-Downes, sisters Edith Miller and Lorraine Hibbs and brother Emory Lee Parks. She is survived by children Peggy L. Eyster of Goldsboro, Donna Savina of Utah, Becky Jones of North Carolina, Clayton Nott of Greensboro, Mary Downes of Greensboro; stepson James E. Downes, Jr. of Denton and sister Mary Lee of Goldsboro and 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Greensboro Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 4, 2018.
