Obituary for Delma Henry Hayes Delma Henry Hayes, age 96, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Wesley Woods in Newnan, GA surrounded by family. Delma was born October 6, 1921 in Luthersville, GA to the late Henry Louis Hayes and Fannie Hopkins Hayes. Along with his parents Delma is preceded in death by the love of his life Elaine Slifer Hayes; siblings, Harvey Hayes, Denson Hayes, Aubrey Hayes, Floyd Hayes, Ruth Collinsworth, Christine Huckaby and Doris Turner.

Delma is survived by his children, Larry Hayes and his wife Zann, Tommy Hayes and his wife Brandy; siblings, Coley Hayes and his wife Clo, Willene Beard and her husband Len; grandchildren, Tonya Nix, Tracy Wakefield and her husband Chris, Jason Hayes, Cameron Hayes and his wife Colbi, Brian Martin, Beth McCard and her husband Daryl, Travis Wright and his wife Erin, Chandler Hayes; great grandchildren, Tanner Wakefield, Brelin Wakefield, Mya Nix, Gracie Hayes, Braylee Hayes, Brooklyn Hayes, Owen Martin, Eden Wright, Tanner Wright, Katie Wright; great-great grandchildren, Emma Wright and Micah McCard. The funeral service for Delma is Monday, April 16, 2018 at 2 PM in the sanctuary of Senoia First Baptist Church, 41 Johnson Street, in Senoia with Rev. Ron Whitlock and Dr. John Talley officiating.

Burial will follow the service at Senoia City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 15th from 6 PM until 8 PM at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, in Newnan. The family would like to extend special thanks to the wonderful people at Wesley Woods and Affinis Hospice for their loving care and attention to Delma and the family.
