Delmar “Curly” Davis Delmar Davis, known to his friends and family as Curly, passed away peacefully, with his sons at his side, on October 29, 2018 at the age of 95 years old. A native of Herrin, Ill. , Curly and his wife Betty moved to Fowlerville after his serving in the Navy.

He began his career as a plastering contractor and they remained in Fowlerville until Curly retired 1985 and he and Betty moved to Florida. Curly leaves behind two sons, David (Peggy) Davis and Gordon ( Lisa) Davis, four grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. His wife, Betty preceded him in death in 2003.

Curly’s family would like to thank his friends at Glenwood Apartments, his friends and staff at Sunset Pines and Grace Hospice for all their support. A family graveside service is planned for Curly and Betty at a future date.
