OBITUARY Deloris M. Walda January 31, 1932 – October 11, 2018 DELORIS MAXINE WALDA, 86, passed away October 11, 2018 at The Hearth of Windermere in Fishers Indiana. She was born in Sault Sainte Marie, MI to the late William and Mildred Burtt. Maxine graduated from Sault Sainte Marie High School.

She worked at Physicians Exchange as a phone operator for seven years. Maxine enjoyed reading and was an avid sports fan. She enjoyed watching IU basketball, Colts football, but her lifelong passion was her beloved Detroit Tigers.

Maxine is survived by her children, Vicki (Everett) Bahrke of Noblesville, IN; Rick Walda of Fort Wayne, Dan Walda of Ossian, IN Brian ( Carla) Walda of Hartford City, IN; brother Donald Burtt of Michigan, Linda Mihaljevic of IL; son-in-law Don Hampshire of New Haven, IN; 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Dale E. Walda, daughter Tina Hampshire, son Kelly Walda, grandson David Bahrke, and ten siblings. Services will be 2pm Monday, October 15, 2018 at D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave Fort Wayne, IN with calling one hour prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to Memorials to Riley Children’s Hospital.
