Funeral service for DeLynn Bass McKnight, age 75, of Decatur, will be Sunday, October 21, 2018, 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jamin Grubbs and Rev. Eric Albright officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 20, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Mrs. McKnight, who died Thursday, October 18, 2018, at Huntsville Hospital, was born July 8, 1943, in Goodspring, TN, to Grady E. Bass and Lucy Prosser Bass.

She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Don McKnight, and her parents. She is survived by her loving husband, Paul McKnight of Decatur; one daughter, Paula White (Johnnie) of Decatur; one brother, Gerald Bass of Memphis, TN; and three grandchildren, Kristyn Hasanof (Emil), Caleb Eades, and Michaela White. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
