Dennis C. Adell, 72 of Lawrenceville, passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson, Hamilton. He was born in South Amboy and grew up in Laurence Harbor. He graduated from Sayreville War Memorial High School in 1963.

He lived in Matawan for 30 years before moving to Jackson and then Toms River. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War and worked as a Boiler Operator for Nestle in Freehold for over 30 years. Dennis is predeceased by his wife, Patricia, his parents John “Andy” Adell and Mary Cenegy Adell, and his brother Ernest Adell.

He is survived by his loving children; Dennis and his wife Jennifer of Toms River, Andrew and his wife Angie of Lawrenceville, Sherri Cagnina and her husband Sal of Manalapan, and Frank Travisano of Pennsylvania; 11 cherished grandchildren; and siblings John Adell and his wife Sandy of Old Bridge, Andrea “Onge” Borst of East Brunswick, Arlene McLaughlin and her husband Thomas also of East Brunswick, sisters-in-law Brenda Adell of Jackson and Joyce Gulics of Matawan, brother-in-law John Gulics of Matawan, and many loving nieces and nephews. Dennis will be missed by all that knew him. Relatives and friends are invited Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 4-8pm and Monday, December 31, 2018, 9am at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple PL.

Keyport, NJ 07735. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10am at St. Clements RC Church, Matawan. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport.
