Dennis Dean Farrer October 19, 1953 ~ July 22, 2018 Dennis “DOC” Farrer, 64, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 22, 2018. He was born on October 19, 1953 in Ogden, Utah, the son of Lyle and Irene Erickson Farrer. He graduated from Bonneville High School in 1971.

He held several jobs during his life which included welding and fabricating. He learned mechanics from his father at an early age and was a jack of all trades. His most recent employment was alongside his sister, Marta, at Traffic Safety Rentals.

Dennis loved “RACE DAYS” on TV and enjoyed a few cold beers while watching a race at the barn. Dennis is survived by his longtime companion, Hetti Jensen; sisters, Marta Nimori, Farr West, UT and Laurie Errington (Rick), Ogden, UT; his daughters, Emily Daughton (Ethan), SLC, UT , Laura Kurtz (Derek) Farmington, UT; granddaughters, Isabelle Boyd, Maya Boyd, and Kestrel Daughton; and grandsons, Jude Daughton and Mac Farrer; numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly, and his pups, Bally and Sky Blue. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Kyle Farrer.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
