UTICA – Dennis Donnell Rodgers, 37, was called home to rest on March 6, 2019, surrounded by the love of his family. Dennis (JAP) was born on October 24, 1981, in Utica and was educated in Utica schools. Also known as “The Dominican”, JAP was known for loving foreign cars and hanging out with his brothers.

He has touched many lives and leaves many to cherish his memory; his mother, Jacquline Rodgers, daughter, Zaryonna Rodgers, brother, Todd Rodgers, sisters, Audrianna Rodgers, Emerald Hudson, Shyna Mills and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his loving grandmother, Mary Lee Devose Rodgers, and his father, Arthur Julius Moore. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Wednesday from 9-10 a.m. at McGrath, Myslinski, Karboski & Nunn Funeral Directors, 470 French Rd.

, Utica. Funeral services will commence at 10:00 a.m. following visitation. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
