Dennis E. Nowlin, 65, of Columbia passed away on June 23, 2018. Services celebrating his life will be held at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 1, 2018, with military honors. Dennis was born March 11, 1953, in Boone County to Owen A. and Ina M. Nichols Nowlin.

He served in the U. S. Army as a Medic during the Vietnam War. Dennis was a member of Discovery Church. He is survived by his daughters, April Yoder (Solomon) of Harrisburg and Stacey Nowlin-Hersey (Rick) of Columbia; a brother, Ronnie Nowlin (Mary) of Columbia; a sister, Karen Herigon (Denny) of Boonville; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
