Dennis Lintner was born on March 22, 1923 in Little Falls, Minnesota. He had two sisters and two brothers. Dennis served in the United States Navy during World War II on the U.S.S. Indiana battleship, where he fought in the Battle of Midway.

He raised four sons, Gary, Doug, Dan and Greg. He is survived by 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. He was active in the Grover City Nazarene Church where he served as the Sunday School Superintendent for many years.

He started a family business with his four sons (Lintner & Sons) in 1973, which is carried on by his granddaughter Jenny Schmidt. The service will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, June 4 at the Marshall-Spoo Sunset Funeral Chapel in Grover Beach. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Central Coast Hospice or the San Luis Obispo Nazarene Church.
