Dennis J. Michael, 67, of Kintnersville, died October 29, 2018 in St. Luke’s Hospital Quakertown Campus. He was the husband of Deborah L. (Klan) Michael, they were married 21 years in August. Born in Bethlehem, PA he was the son of the late James & Jean (Doll) Michael.

Before his retirement in January of 2018 he was an Inspector and service technician for Altronics Security in Bethlehem. Prior to that he was employed at his father’s business the former J. S. Michael Security in Center Valley. Dennis was a 1969 graduate of Southern Lehigh High School.

He was a long time member of the Pennsylvania Train Collectors Association in Lancaster and a model train enthusiast. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed riding motorcycles. In addition to his wife he is survived by a brother Daniel Michael and his wife Amy, a nephew Andrew Michael and his cocker spaniel Chloe.

Services will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www. crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951. Call Thursday evening, November 1, 2018 from 6:00-7:30 P.M. and Friday morning from 9:00-10:00 A.M. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Animals in Distress P.O. Box 609 Coopersburg, PA 18036.
