Mr. Dennis Keith Merritt, 67 went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, March 9, 2019. He was born June 14, 1951 in Forsyth County to the late Dennis Vernon Merritt and Mabel Campbell Merritt. Keith was president of Merritt Plumbing Company for 48 years.

He was a dedicated volunteer with Stokes county Mental Health and a lifelong member of Poplar Springs Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, Keith is preceded in death by his brother, Dean Merritt and niece, Dana Merritt. He is survived by his daughter, Shannon Merritt Mullins (Jimmy) of Granite Falls, NC; son Kevin Merritt of King, NC; and numerous cousins.

A funeral service will be conducted 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 13 at Poplar Springs Church of Christ with Donnie Wallace, Minister, Chuck Bowers, Minister, and Ralph Sproles, Minister officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Poplar Springs Cemetery Fund, 7120 NC HWY 66 S, King, NC 27021. Online condolences may be made at www. hayworth-miller.com.
