Mr. Albert Jerry Sneed, 83, passed away on March 3, 2019, at The Oaks at Forsyth. Albert was born on July 14, 1935, in Yadkin County, to Folly and Annie Wishon Sneed. He was a veteran of the National Guard and was the owner and operator of Red’s Upholstery Shop for over 45 years.

He was also a member of Trinity Friends Church, where he was a choir member. Every Friday morning he would have a jam session at his shop where everyone was welcome, and for 15 years he sang with his buddies at various nursing homes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Frances Sneed; sister, Helen Wooten; and brother-in-law, Harold Wooten.

Surviving are one daughter, Janet Boger (husband Randy); two grandchildren, Mandy Quesinberry and Mark Boger; one great-grandson, Gabe Quesinberry; one niece, Lynn Ferro (husband Rob); and one nephew, Joel Wooten (wife Frances). A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Avery Varnadore officiating. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 12:45-1:45pm prior to the service. The family would like to thank everyone at The Oaks at Forsyth for the love and care they gave to Albert.
