Mr. Loyd Wade Beauchamp, 86 of Advance, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at his home. He was born February 27, 1933 in Davie County to the late Ollie Loyd Beauchamp and Lillian Hanes Beauchamp. Mr. Beauchamp served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was the owner of United Auto Center in King for over 30 years.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Mildred Riley Beauchamp. Surviving are one daughter, Pamm Couch (husband Terry) of Advance; three sons, Ronnie Beauchamp, Kim Beauchamp (wife Kim) and Shayne Beauchamp (wife Jennifer); five grandchildren, Katie, Devin, Sarah, Elisabeth and Korrie; and one brother, Donald Beauchamp (wife Wanda) of Clemmons. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2019 at Elbaville United Methodist Church with Pastor David Smith officiating.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. Memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Ln.
