Dennis “Pedro” Westmoreland, age 83, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019, in Comanche, Texas. He was born on March 2, 1936, in Gustine, Texas, to Phillip B. and Viola (Watson) Westmoreland.

Pedro was a proud graduate of Gustine High School, Class of 1955. On December 7, 1956, he was united in marriage to Patricia Willis in Haskell County, Oklahoma. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Pedro was an outstanding auto mechanic. He especially loved to work on old cars and he was a member of numerous car clubs. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Westmoreland of Comanche; son, Dennis Westmoreland of Comanche; daughters, Teresa Westmoreland of Comanche, and Dr. Kalene Westmoreland of Las Vegas, Nevada; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Viola Westmoreland; brothers, Jack, Jake, and Bennie; and sisters, Dean, Tommye, Murdell, and Bonnie.
