Dennis R. Warner, age 75, Colebrook Twp. , died Sunday morning at his residence. He was born November 19, 1942 in Mentor, the son of Clare & Jacqueline (Smith) Warner and has lived in this area many years.

Dennis was proud of his military duty, serving in the U. S. Navy. He was a retired from Palesh & Assoc. in Mentor.

Dennis married Cynthia G. Layman on June 15, 1996 in Jefferson. Dennis or “Macgyver” as he was called by some, because he could fix anything, enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. Survivors include his wife, Cynthia; three children, Stephanie (Robert) Hagele of Brunswick, Richard (Victoria) Layman of Wilmington & Wendy (Steve) McClintock of Dothan, AL; four grandchildren, Gabriella Hagele, Troy Layman and Kristen & Rachel McClintock; two great-grandchildren, Benjamin & Andrew Asa Layman; a brother, Scott (Cheryl) Warner of Eastlake and two sisters, Toni (Andrew) Kujala of Eastlake & Bonnie (Butch) Rickman of S. Boston, VA.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Andrew Layman. No services will be held at this time. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
