Dennis Robert Smith, 73, of Harrington, DE passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Milford Center, surrounded by his loving family. Dennis was born in Trenton, NJ the son of the late Edward G. and Beatrice (Cooper) Smith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Dennis worked at Draperies Etc. as a fabric cutter from 1984 until December of 2016. He enjoyed old cars and loved to go camping.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Larry Smith and a grandson Christopher Smith. He is survived by his wife of 50 years MaryAnn Smith; 3 daughters Denise Stull and her husband Vernon, Lori Warren and Sherri Smith; and one son Jesse Smith and his wife Melissa; a brother Jerry Smith; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Dennis’s Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 851 Killens Pond Road, Harrington, DE.
