Obituary for Derek Alan Steier Derek Alan Steier, 28, of Enid passed away on June 19, 2018 in Enid, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Cap McIlnay officiating. Derek was born on October 7, 1989 in Enid, Oklahoma to Gordon and Linda (Lunderman) Steier.

He graduated from Enid High School. Derek followed his passion working as a welder since his completion of his welding certification at Autry Technical Center. He was always willing to help anyone in need and was continually learning.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Vincent Steier and his maternal grandfather Gene Lunderman. Derek is survived by his parents, Gordon and Linda Steier; brother, Nathan Steier (Bobbi Buntin), sister, Amber Steier; grandmothers, Josie Steier and Jeanne Lunderman; many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Honorary bearers will be Cody McCree, Devon Grubb, Travis Grubb, Zack Steier, Taylor Steier, and James Goodman.
