Obituary for Derrene Black EVERMAN – Rene Black, 61, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, April 11, 2018. She was born on April 25, 1956, in Savannah, Ga. She was the daughter of Vida Chambers and Henry Chambers.

Rene was a caretaker, wife and mother of three beautiful daughters and five step-children after remarrying. She was loved so dearly by all that knew her. She was a great woman with a strong personality who always spoke her mind.

She was a great wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors: Rene will be remembered by her husband, Donald Black; siblings, Diane Ross, Denise Chappell, Danny Chambers and Durand Chambers; daughters, Jennifer Powell, Melissa Phillips and Lori Crews; step-daughters, Jessica Black and Ruby Deteau; step-sons, Donald Black, II, Gregory Morrow and Antonio George; grandchildren, Jessica Bridges, Nickolas Powell, Trey Harville, Gunner Phillips, Amealia Salsman, Aaron Martinez, Brittany Black, Alexander Black, Emily Deteau; and many other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
