Deward “Pete” Shearer Jr. age, 65 of Trafford, originally from Pitcairn passed away on Thursday June 7, 2018 in the Transitions Healthcare in North Huntingdon. Pete was born on March 11, 1953 the son of Deward and Evelyn (Edwards) Shearer. Pete retired as a security guard for Allegheny County Community College, he was a Charter Member of the Sons of American Legion Post #331 Trafford and loved to fish and hunt.

Pete was preceded in death by his brothers Cliff Shearer and James “Skip” Hursh. He is survived by his daughter Emily Matsko (Terry Nolder) of West Newton, his companion Sue Eckels of Trafford and his grandchildren Aaron Matsko and Evelyn Matsko. Family and friends will be received for a memorial visitation on Thursday (June 14) from 6-8 PM in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc. 702 7th St. (St. Rt.
