Dewey Tucker June 30, 1930 – May 20, 2018 MISHAWAKA – Dewey Tucker, 87, residing in Mishawaka, IN passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018 at his home. Dewey was born on June 30, 1930 in Winchester, TN to the late Jace Tucker and Martha (Pardon) Tucker and his lived in this area since 1949 coming from Tennessee. Dewey proudly served our country in the National Guard.

He worked as a Crane Operator for 35 years with Dodge Manufacturing, retiring in 1990; he also worked for 11 years with Rockwell Industries. He enjoyed farming, tractors, hunting, riding horses, and gardening. On October 17, 1951 in Angola, Indiana, he was united in marriage to Frances L. (Lacopo) Tucker, who preceded him in death on November 10, 2005.

He was also preceded in death by his 9 sisters and 8 brothers. Dewey is survived by his daughters, Martha (LeRoy) Thompson of Osceola, IN, Janice (Gary) Rhodes of Westerville, OH, Karen (Eric) Halbert of Mishawaka, IN, and Louise (Rick) Pearson of Whitehouse, TN; son, Dewey A. Tucker of Mishawaka, IN; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Dewey Tucker will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Palmer Funeral Home River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Ave.

, South Bend, IN 46615 with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to Heartland Hospice, 230 W. Catalpa, Suite D, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
