Mr. Dextel Joel Simmons, 58, formerly of Kinston died Saturday, December 8,2018 in Colorado Spring, Colorado He was born on March 9,1960 to Lillie Simmons Williams and Ernest Bonner. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Trinity Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow immediately after the service in Mills Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 1217 Carrie Hill Dr. where they will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
