Mrs. Diana Lea Miller Suttles, age 64, gained her heavenly wings at the John F. Keever Solace center in Asheville on Friday, May 3, 2019 surrounded by family and friends. She was a daughter to the late Lee and Zelda Miller and was born on February 9, 1955. Diana worked at Coats North America for 45 years.

Although our hearts are broken, Heaven has indeed gained a true angel. Diana will be remembered as such a gentle, loving and caring wife, mother, sister, and friend. She is preceded in death by a son, Brent Suttles.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of almost 43 years, Ray Suttles; a daughter, Briana Suttles; a sister, Patty Miller and husband Steve; a brother, Mike Miller and wife Nikki all of Marion; two sisters-in-law, Mary Snow of Drexel and Becky Bradshear and husband, Dan of TX; a brother-in-law, Ned Suttles of Drexel; and a special group known as “The Girls”… WE LOVE YOU DIANA. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Westmoreland Funeral Home in Marion from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. The service will follow the visitation at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Westmoreland. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the WNC Bridge Foundation at wncbridge.org/support-us/make-a-gift/.
