Obituary of Diana Hogan On Wednesday, December 19, 2018, Diana May Hogan passed away peacefully at the age of 76 surrounded by her loving family. Diana was born on October 4, 1942 and was the only child of Jim and Kathleen Pinckney. She was a long time Santa Cruz resident, attending Mission Hill Junior High, where she met her adoring husband of 57 years, Robert Hogan.

Diana graduated from Santa Cruz High School in 1960 and attended Humboldt State University. Diana and Robert were married on March 25, 1961 and went on to have three children. Diana is survived by her husband, Robert, her children, Katy, Kelly and Jimmy, her eight grandchildren, Scott, Brittany, Robert, Annie, Alex, Emma, Sarah and James, and her two great-grandchildren, Daisy and Emmett.

Diana’s favorite pastimes were spending time with her family at her second home in Lake Tahoe, cruising the Delta on her yacht and spending time at her duck cabin at the Gustine Gun Club. She dedicated her entire life to her family and she will live in our hearts forever. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Holy Cross Church in Santa Cruz at 11 o’clock in the morning.

Diana was a lifelong animal lover and in lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Santa Cruz SPCA, 2685 Chanticleer Ave, Santa Cruz, CA 95065.
