Obituary for Diane Crites Diane Crites, 69, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, September 24, 2018. She was born June 4, 1949 in Des Arc, Arkansas. She worked for the North Little Rock School District for over 40 years as an extraordinary educator.

During that time she loved her teachers, her job and most importantly all the children who walked through the doors of her school each day. Diane touched the lives of many and made everyone feel special. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, Nanny, and friend.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, J.M. Crites; sons, Tony Crites (Brenda) and Tod Crites; grandchildren, Lacy Sullivan (Nathan), Christopher Crites, Mariah Martz (Jordan) and Tori Crites; great-grandchildren, Cooper Sullivan and Reese Caroline Sullivan; mother, Irene Parks; her three best friends, Esther Crawford, Beverly Kelso and Kay Harris; and numerous extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Parks, and daughter, Gina Crites. Memorials may be made per her request to “Books for Children Project”, Pike View Early Childhood Center, 441 McCain Blvd, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116.

Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 28, 2018 at Rest Hills Memorial Park. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, at her church, Central Baptist Church, 5200 Fairway Ave. , North Little Rock.
