Diane R. Riebe, age 75, of Forest City died at home on Friday, May 25, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 4, 2018 at the Litchfield Christian Church in Litchfield. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in the Ripley Cemetery. Diane Ruth Willner, the daughter of Herbert and Grace (Gerberding) Willner, was born on March 15, 1943 in Blue Earth, MN. Her family moved to Grove City, where she graduated from Grove City High School in 1961.

Following graduation she began working at 3M in Hutchinson. She married Michael Huebsch and they had two children, Christine and Kyle. They moved to Lake Lillian and Diane worked as a home maker for ten years while the children were young.

She later married Arlan Riebe. She returned to 3M and moved to Hutchinson in 1989. She retired from 3M after 38 years of service.

She moved to Forest City in 2006 and owned the Riverside Store for six years. Diane enjoyed gardening, canning, bird watching, fishing and quilting. She enjoyed having animals while on the farm and also her dog.

She was survived by her children Christine Huebsch of Chandler, AZ, and Kyle Huebsch of Cave Creek, AZ. She is also survived by her sisters Geraldine (Willard) Johnson of St. Cloud and Irene Ward of Wisconsin and sister-in-law Arlinda Willner of Eden Valley. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Roger and Herb Willner and sister Florence Chase.
