Obituary for Mrs. Diane Turner May Kathy Diane Turner May, 65, wife of Jeffery Shawn May, of 503 Ivy Spring Court, Seneca, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at her home. A native of Burlington, NC, Mrs. May was the daughter of the late Abner Love Turner and Nettie Mae Rudd Newman. She retired from Unifi, Inc. and was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church, Yadkinville, NC.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. May is survived by her step-father: George “Paw Paw” Newman, Jr.; daughters: Cynthia Sternberg Brock (Jim) of Anderson, SC and Jessica May Smith (Colin) of Jacksonville, FL; and one grandson: Ethan Michael Brock. In addition to her parents, Mrs. May was preceded in death by her daughter: Anne Nicole Sternberg. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 7, 2018, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM, Friday, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted. The family is at the home.
