Obituary for Dianne M. Dennis Dianne Dennis, 68, of Fort Dodge passed away on June 6, 2018 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home after a courageous battle with cancer. Memorial service honoring her life will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service.

Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery. Dianne Marie Vohs was born on May 30, 1950 to John and Lorraine (Matthys) Vohs. She graduated from St. Edmonds High School in 1968.

Dianne was united in marriage to David Dennis for several years and separated later in life. She worked at Kingsgate Insurance and later as a trust officer at First American Bank for several years, retiring in 2015. Dianne was an avid quilter and enjoying sewing, doing taxes, and her life plans for the perfect retirement.

She enjoyed sitting on her porch, drinking tea, reading SCI/FI and shopping. Survivors include one son, Steve (Mary) Dennis and their children Kirsten and Isaac Dennis of Ankeny, IA; Brothers Robert (Barb) Vohs of Adlington, TX and Jay (Tiffany) Vohs of Elkton, MD; her mother, Lorraine Vohs of Austin, TX; In–laws Teresa Vohs of Johnston, IA, Jack Johnson of Folsom, CA and Janet Vohs of Wichita, KS as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, John Vohs, Siblings Richard and Tom Vohs, Carol Johnson and Joanne Vohs.
