Mary Margaret Dornath was born December 26, 1941 in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Clifford and Margaret (Peed) Woodman. She grew up in the Fort Dodge area and attended Fort Dodge Senior High. She was united in marriage to Donald Dornath on January 24, 1959.

They settled in the Fort Dodge area. Mary worked for Globe Industries until they closed and later for Frigidaire and Electrolux. She enjoyed playing cards, with Fridays being a tradition of playing Left-Right-Center.

Her grandchildren meant the world to her. On Wednesday, May 30, 2018 Mary Margaret Dornath died at her home. She is survived by her two daughters; Shelly Isebrand and Tammy Johnson both of Fort Dodge.

She is also survived by five grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and her brother Virgil Woodman. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Dick Woodman. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
