Dianne Dial Brown age 77 of Gainesville, Ga. died Wednesday December 12, 2018 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday December 15, 2018 at the Little Davenport Chapel, the Rev.

Geoff Grubbs will officiate and burial will follow in the Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5 to 7 pm. Mrs. Brown was born in Oxford, Ga.

and had been living in the Gainesville area since 1964, she was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Gainesville, Ga. and she was the Director of the local American Cancer Society. She was preceded in death by her parents – Jack & Mary Lou Dial and two Brothers – Stanley & Jackie Dial.

Dianne enjoyed sewing, flower arranging, antique shopping, long rides on sunny days and the ocean. Survivors include: Husband – Burton A. Brown, Sr., Son – Burton A. Brown, Jr. and Daughter-in-law, Catherine Brown, Daughter – Candance White and Son-in-law Bob White, Brothers and sister in laws, Wayne & Debbie Dial, Steve & Brenda Dial and Lynn Dial. Grandchildren – Alex & Anna Brown, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
