Obituary of D. Kalkbrenner D. Lynn Kalkbrenner, 64, of Centerville, passed away Saturday evening Sept. 29, 2018 at the Meadville Medical Center. Lynn was born on Nov.

6, 1953 at Erie, PA, a daughter of Donna Davis Colley and the late Chesleigh Davis. She was married to J.L. “Booie” Kalkbrenner on May 28, 1988 at North East, PA. Lynn was a graduate of Ripley, NY High School, class of 1972.

She had worked at Welch’s in Westfield, NY and North East, PA. She had also been employed at Cheryl Young Appraisal Service in Titusville, the Bethesda Home in Meadville, and at Giant Eagle in Titusville. Lynn was a former member of the Church of God in North East, PA.

She had volunteered as a teacher’s aide at Hydetown Elementary School and Main Street School in Titusville. She had served as secretary for the Titusville Rockets Marching Band Parents. Lynn was also active in the operation of the family businesses, Green Acres Golf Course and Kalkbrenner’s Archery.

She was a member of the Bloomfield Twp. Volunteer Fire Dept. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and scrapbooking.

Lynn is survived by her husband Booie of Centerville; her mother, Donna Colley of Titusville; two sons, Aaron Kalkbrenner and wife Andilynne of Brookville, and Jeffrey Kalkbrenner and wife Cindy of Warren; two sisters, Marvyna Dixson of Titusville and Tina Eaton and husband Jim of North East; three brothers, Steve Davis and wife Vilma of Wimauma, FL, Bob Davis and wife Beverly of Centerville, and Randy Davis and wife Mary of Evansville, IN; and numerous special nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville, PA on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and attend the funeral service on Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Centerville Baptist Church with her brother-in-law, Rev. Jim Eaton, officiating.

Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery. The family asks that memorials be made to the Bloomfield Twp. or Centerville Volunteer Fire Departments; or to the charity of one’s choice.
