Obituary of Margaret Elslager Mrs. Margaret Ann “Peggy” Elslager, 75, of Thompson Run Rd, Titusville passed away Friday evening November 16, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Elslager was born on January 22, 1943 in Chambersburg to the late Charles H. Perry and Margaret Spittler Rober. She married Richard L. Elslager on February 17, 1962, in Clymer, NY.

Mr. Elslager preceded her in death on March 11, 1999. Peggy was employed by the former Presbyterian Home in Titusville for 30 years as a nurse’s aide until her retirement. She enjoyed reading, flower and vegetable gardening, and shopping.

She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed laughing. She loved Christmas, her dogs, ducks and family in that order. Her favorite day was everyday spending time with her children, grandchildren and her large extended family.

Peggy is survived by 5 children, Danny Perry and wife Tammy of Erie, Wayne Elslager and wife Christie of Titusville, Kellie Wright and husband John of Grand Valley, Rich Elslager and wife Julie of Titusville, Karl Elslager and wife Sonya of Hydetown; 3 sisters, Rosie Titch of Corry, Patty Long of Teepleville, Darlene Shirk and husband Norris of Lancaster; a brother, William Perry and wife Darlene of Garland; 17 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, Lil Richie Elslager and Corey Walters. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, PA 16354 on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm with a memorial service to follow conducted by Pastor David Southwick of the Branch Fellowship Church, officiating.
