Dolores Ann “Dee” Hazelip, age 82 of Toronto passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville, OH. She was born October 2, 1936 in Steubenville, OH the daughter of the late Chester Errett DeLong in 1962 and Ethel Marie (Hukill) DeLong in 1947. Dee was a member of the Bell Chapel United Methodist Church of Steubenville (Pleasant Hill) and had been a member of the Stanton Ruritan Club.

She was a 1954 graduate of Steubenville High School. She retired from the Modern Dairy of Steubenville as a bookkeeper. Besides her parents, Dee was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Hazelip who passed away December 13, 2018 and whom she married November 19, 1982; son, Richard Alan Moreland in 2008 and a sister, Catherine Parfenick in 2006.

Dee is survived by her daughter, Terry (Buster) Smith of Toronto; step-daughter, Diane (Karl) Hazelip Harrison of Westerville, OH and step-sons, Donald Hazelip of Columbus, OH and Reverend Ricky (Barbara) Riggs of Carrollton, OH. Five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren survive. Visitation hours for Dee will be held 3-6 Monday, June 3rd at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St.,, Toronto.

A celebration service of Dee’s life will be held at 6 P.M. Monday at the funeral home with the Reverend Jeff Proya officiating. To honor Dee’s wishes, she will be cremated.
