Obituary for Donald Albert Scholz Donald Albert Scholz, age 100, longtime Glenview resident currently of Covenant Village of Northbrook, passed away May 30, 2018. Beloved husband for 72 years of Christine Scholz nee Freiberg; loving father of Kenneth (Carol) Scholz and the late Martha (Robert) Kuehn; cherished grandfather of Arthur, Karl and Eleanor Scholz; dear brother of the late Marie Scholz. Mr. Scholz was a veteran of the US Army Air Corps serving during World War II.

He was the owner of Scholz, Moody Advertising in Oak Brook, IL. Don was a creative spirit who enjoyed, painting, photography, playwriting, and woodworking. He was active at Glenview Community Church and Covenant Village of Northbrook where he founded the watercolor painting class.

He proudly celebrated his 100th birthday in April with family and friends. Don both appreciated and created beauty and will be greatly missed. Services and interment will be private.
